General Information for Rock Climbing Trips
What to Wear
Comfortable clothing such as shorts, tights, sweatpants and T-shirts are recommended for climbing in West Virginia’s New River Gorge and the Summersville Lake area.
Wear light hiking shoes or tennis shoes for the approach to the climbing areas. No flip flops! During the spring and fall the weather may be chilly, bring a light jacket or sweater. A light rain shell is also recommended for climbing throughout the year in the New River Gorge.

Gear
We supply all the gear needed for climbing and rappelling in the New River Gorge: climbing shoes, harness, rope, and guide, etc. However you must supply your own water, appropriate walking shoes, camera and personal items. For our Summersville Lake pontoon boat trip you will need a swimsuit, towel, and suntan lotion.
Trips
We have a number of trips to suit your groups´ needs in the New River Gorge. From the beginner to advanced. You now have the choice of climbing venues for your full day climbing experience. You can either choose West Virginia’s New River Gorge or Summersville Lake option.

Group Rates
We have special rates for church groups, schools, scouts, and large family groups who want to climb in the New River Gorge. Full or half day courses are ideal for groups that have no previous climbing or rappelling experience. Minimum age for all trips is 6 years old.
